On Nov. 19 I posted on 'what was your bird of the day' that I had spotted a yellow Coppersmith Barbet. That was a gloomy gray early morning, so couldn't get a believable photo. Just this

After spotting him about 3 times after that, finally on Dec. 5th, a nice sunny day, he showed up and I could get a believable (not a GOOD)photo with my best camera, a 5X optical zoom. He's really a beautiful guy(gal?).

He seems to be going to be a regular on my patch this year, usually accompanied by a couple of mates and some Chestnut-tailed Starlings, so someday I'll try digibinning or find someone with a better camera.
