Hello there...
I know listing can become a bit of a hot tater topic..
...but..I've got some questions for you all...
Has anyone achieved 300 species for a yearlist in:
a: a County?
b: English mainland?
c: Scilly Isles?
Was thinking how difficult it must be to see 300 in a year
I'm nowhere near that figure on my rather 'cavalier' lifelist!..
Dave.
Watcha 'young man'

yes - long time ago 1990 or 1991 i think - bit easier now with all the splits!
no
had a great time doing it but i was 21 and up for owt....still up for owt but enjoy other stuff now - i prefer the cavalier approach too Dave..... why leave Norfolk? Was up on the coast in the sun last weekend wader watching and dozed off. A 30 min drive home is so nice - feel sorry for all those folks who have to go back to London etc......
Just checked for Cambs...
Mark Hawkes holds the record...214 in 2003..which is amazing!
I reckon some 'big hitter' in Norfolk would have done 300 in a year
.....but probably kept it quiet!!...eh Tim
