Hi, I have had yard year list competitions with a few friends before, and I thought it would be fun if we did it with some of us on the Birdforum. Here’s how it works. To make it even for those that don’t have a lot of property, we will consider a ½ mile radius of someone’s house, their yard. I’ll trust you to “imagine” correct distance. Obviously you count the birds you see in that area. You email me at jaredcaster@yahoo.com with your lists before the end of every month, or reply to the thread with your list, and I will put the leader board out on the 1st or 2nd of the following month. We could also have a prize, for the winner, if someone would like to sponsor one. If you are interested in sponsoring a prize, also contact me through the email above.
