Woohoo! A Manx White-rumped Sand'

Just this minute got back from my usual lunchtime jaunt down Langness, IOM where I found the second ever Manx White-rumped Sandpiper (I was lucky enopugh to find the 1st a couple of years ago).
The heathaze is horrendous down there so my photos won't be the best - I'll post them this evening after work (assuming Peteh doesn't relocate it and get better shots!).

Nice one Chris, a great 1-2 for you. A good Viking name by the way, Langness.

WRS brings back painful memories for me as my stomach (or lack of food in it) got in the way of my seeing one three years ago, and I haven't connected since.

A good find,Chris,congratulations.

How long did the 1st one hang around?
