Exactly what does this term mean?
I have not heard the term used in the States so I'm guessing it's a Brittish slang word.
thanks!

thanks![/QUOTE] Hi Stephen:The twitch is an odd word that pops up here frequently. It means to chase after a rare bird.A recent example here would have been the red footed falcon in Martha's Vinyard that US birders from all over came to see.The origin I have learned is from two British birders that chased after rare birds or megas with a motorcycle and sidecar. On cool days the fellow in the sidecar became cold and would twitch. The term is starting to gain some usage here.

thankyou Samuel.
OK I have one twitch then, an Egyptian Goose pair this year.I just had to see it.
