I was in washington July 9 - 21 for work, but I ventured out and I saw some great birds:
Dungeness railroad bridge - california quail in the parking lot
Cape flattery - tufted puffins ( I could see their orange feet kicking under the water), pigeon guillemot, some kind of goose - we thought it might be a brandt
Rialto beach - common merganser - (about 10 females sitting on a log) brown pelicans
dungeness spit - loon, more pigeon guillemot, gulls
Mount Baker - (barred?) owl - hanging out in a ditch at about 10 am
On the road to keystone ferry - bald eagle
waiting for keystone ferry - kingfisher and blue herons and harlequin ducks
