A bird I really want to see.Saw my first wallcreeper 2 days ago, at the monastry Mont Ste Odile in the Vosges, Alsace, France!
Really a great bird and it came as a total surprise!
It suddenly flew off from one Cliff showing its beautifully coloured wings and landed on another cliff, then disappearing into a wide crevice in the rocks , coming out again to show itself again.
That happened on the rocks facing the southeast and getting the morning sun, and there were lots of forest birds searching for insects and seeds in the Cliffs, Coal tits, Great tits, Blue tits, Nuthatches, a Crested tit, a Wren, a Robin and Chaffinches,together with a Black Redstart and said wallcreeper.

first thing i ever said to my girlfriend was that id marry her if she found me a wallcreeper !
she now seems to avoid taking me to places where it is a possibility !
