Victoria BC list 2008



Hello this s Kirsten This is all the birds I've seen in Victoria this calendar year. There is a checklist region for the area which is what I'm following. I'm doing a big year for the area. Even thoguh at the beginning of the year it was just trying to find some unusual species. Now if any rare bird shows I try and find it. The record for most seen in one year is abut 251ish and getting over 230 is hard from what I'm told. And I should know since getting to this point has taken about 10-15 hours per week birding. Also 90 percent of these birds are found using public transportation. So here's the list:
