There are Spoonbills in England?
There certainly are, Marcus - the ones in the UK are Platalea leucorodia, often called Eurasian or European Spoonbil, whilst according to National Geographic FG to the Birds of North America (3rd edition) those in the US are Ajaia ajaja, Roseate Spoonbill.
Eurasian Spoonbill have bred in the UK, the last record of which I wot being some two or three years ago.
