I will post a full report asap. Would just like to recommend Geoffrey Gomes on Trinny and warn viewers about Newton George on Tobago. We were very disappointed with him. Starting a bird trip at 8.30 is not right good and letting people think they will be the only ones on the tour and turning up with a bus load isn't either. Also, he is expensive and charges the same no matter how many people are in the group. He only does 2 tours now: the airport area+Grafton (3-4 hours) and the rainforest (3-4 hours). He took 8 of us on a lethal trail in the rainforest. Everyone was dis-satisfied.
Shame you had that experience with Newton George. I spent a morning with him (just me and him) in January 2007 on the Gilpin Trail and he did a great job of trying to find my target birds in the difficult conditions (torrential rain) we had. I very much doubt I'd have found White-tailed Sabrewing without him in the time I had, and he was very knowledgeable and friendly. Look forward to your trip report.

Can only agree with Edward (Edward -you've had a low profile on BF in recent times how are you doing?).
Spent a number of trips in the company of Newton > he consistently delivered the goods, was pleasant & good-natured. Certainly never felt I got anything other than the best of service from him.
