I recently held a poll in order to write an article based on the most wanted species by birders visiting Thailand. Numbers one and two were fairly predictable but there were a few surprises.

2. Spoon-billed Sandpiper
3. Great Hornbill
4. Hume's Pheasant
5. Rufous-necked Hornbill
6. Coral-billed Ground Cuckoo
7. Nordmann's Greenshank
8. Long-tailed Broadbill
9. Large-billed Reed Warbler
10. Siamese Fireback Pheasant
