Thanks for posting your report. I was in Tenerife last July and posted a trip report on the forum. I agree with you that the 'leaking pipe' spot was one of the best areas and probably my favourite. Though the pipe is fixed and is now plastic there was a broken drain there. I sat quietly on a couple of mornings and there was a steady stream of canaries and blue chaffinches coming to drink with a few crests around too-and the pic in my avatar of an adult feeding a juvenile was taken there. Los Lajas was great for blue chaffies and woodpeckers-I loved the slurred song of the chaffies. And the Mt Teide area was great to see-though an alien landscape and completely birdless when we went there
