At the first week of february I was at the Iguazu Falls in NE Argentina. I was lucky to watch and take a photo of the Swallow-tailed Hummingbird (Eupetomena macroura) in a garden of the city of Puerto Iguazu. This species is not included in the main part of the field guide for Argentina (by Narosky & Izurieta) and it is only mentioned as a possibility for the country which must be confirmed. Itīs really a beautiful hummer and I hope it expands further into Argentina.
Hi Fritz
