SW Mallorca

Hi
Anyone know of any decent sites in SW Mallorca. Going 1st week in August staying in Santa Ponsa. Know there are plenty of sites in NE and have been twice before but not been to the SW at all.
Would the book A Birdwatcher's Guide to Mallorca have any sites??
cheers
Dave

salines de levante for lots of things (waders, flamingos, raptors etc)
cap de ses salines for shearwaters (cory's and balearics should be seen)
es trenc beach was good for audouin's gull in april

The Birdwatchers Guide to Mallorca doesn't really cover this area very well. It gets a mention right at the end of the book - the reason given is that it's too distant from the Alcudia/Pollenca area which is where the author was based and most birders stay.

Several sites are given a paragraph each - Cap Blanc, Dragonera and La Trapa (Trappa) - the last two sound well worth a visit - if you do a Google search you'll find some useful links - shame the best ones are only in Spannish.
