Some of my friends and I visited Sri Lanka in November to see the endemic birds. We went to Sinharaja, Kithulgala, and Nuwara Eliya. The highlights of the trip were wonderful sightings of the rare Serendib's scops owl in Kithulgala, and the Ceylon whistling thrush at Horton's Plains.
