Just back from Sri lanka.
Missed just one endemic, the very gettable Small Barbet, ah well....
Tour organised by Prasanjith Caldera and led by Nandana Hewagamage, both highly recommended by us.
There are myriad trip reports on Sri lanka and the path is well worn, so I have not put together exhaustive notes.
But thought it might be of use to someone thinking of arranging a trip.

From what I gather Alf, some of the other 60 to 80 (current) endemic races will get promotion in near future too....
Helm are producing a new Guide on Birds of Sri Lanka (later this month) which was not out in time for our trip, but it may have some additional splits...?
SoI will have to wait to update my list too....
