Spoonbills Canary Islands

I saw four white spoonbills (unmistakeable profile) flying north along the east coast of Gran Canaria on 4.12.04. It is the first time I have seen them on Gran Canaria. They are more frequent on Fuerteventura and Lanzarote where I once spotted a flock of 40 (on the islat of Lobos). There are currently coots and, as always, plenty of moorhens in the Charco de Maspalomas as well as a good selection of waders and plovers.

Or as liverpool are known at times in Britain (SPAIN)

Nice sighting with the spoonbills, they are great to see in flight.
