Great Kiskadee
White-tipped Dove
Plain Chachalaca
Green Kingfisher
Ringed Kingfisher
Brown crested Flycatcher
Green Jay
Golden Fronted Woodpecker
Altimira Oriole
Olive Sparrow
CLAY COLORED ROBIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)
NORHTERN BEARDLESS TYRANNULET!!!!!!! :) (never woulda expected to see that!)
Least Grebe
Common Paraque

It was one of my favorite trips ever!

Hi.

It sounds like you had a great trip. You certainly did better than I did on my visit to south Texas in March; I only saw half of the birds on your list. (That's how it goes with birding, though, isn't it?) I'm going to find a way to get back down there next year with enough time to do some really intense birding.

Which was the most productive site for you?

If you have time, you might want to put a trip report on the USA / Texas pages of the web site, as this may help other birders in the future.

Jeff

The best place i thought was bensten state park and the second best edinburg scenic wetlands. I also really enjoyed santa ana NWR and Laguna Atascosa NWR
