I am going on a family holiday to Cavelossim, South Goa in November.
I am hoping to arrange a visit to Cotigao Wildlife Park but can't find much info about any local taxi/guides in Cavelossim (plenty of taxis but no guides). I have been to North Goa a couple of times before so I know how easy it is up there but the South seems to be uncharted territory.
I have seen advertisements for Canopy Tours based in Margao, they will do half day guided birding trips to various sites including Cotigao with hotel pickup but I can't seem to find a mention of them in any bird trip reports.
Has anybody tried Canopy Tours and are they recommended?

Many thanks for your reply, I think I may have contacted you earlier regarding the Dona Sylvia. Well we have booked and will be flying out on 6th November, I'll let you know how we get on.
