One adult at the same site two spent the winter last year. Hopefully it'll stay into breeding plumage like the last ones did and hopefully it's turning into a regular wintering spot.
Good news and what a great looking bird, in fact the one last year was new to the database.

How about a Sociable Plover seen for the last few weeks on Rainham marshes in Essex, an Rspb site not yet open to the public , but opened this weekend (11 and 12 dec) to see the bird.
