Small Mangrove Walkway

I regularly visit a small walkway that courses its way through some old-growth mangrove. This place is right beside the hiway and just a coupl klicks from Phang Nga Town.

During April and May, I regularly see more than one Mangrove Pitta, Red-and-Black Broadbills, White-chested Babblers, the ocassional Ruddy Kingfisher and a pair of Streak-breasted Woodpeckers!!

This place is also a popular spot for teenagers to visit. They make a lot of noise and throw a lot of trash on the forest floor, but the birds are still there... wonderfully weird.
