Yesterday i was lucky enough to spot a shorelark at Edgbaston Reservoir. It was on its own, milling around with lots of larger birds like crows, geese and ducks. i had no idea that i could see one this far inland, yet alone in such an urban area. i guess this is my best find yet.
That is an excellent find , don't forget to send the details to the county recorder.
Have you reported to Birdguides etc, so that others may share your good fortune? (assuming the bird is still present, not on private property etc)
