Seeking tropical ecolodge close to Miami with Wifi (Honduras?)

Hi,

I am looking for a great place to spend a few weeks close to where I live in south FLorida. Something off the beaten track with a lot of birds and WIFI internet.

Some ideas.

Honduras. Found two really nice lodges close to Pico Bonito NP but both are close to $200/night. Omega Lodge looked perfect, but no Wifi. Any other choices here?

Trinidad: Asa W. Nature Center might be a perfect spot, but again almost $200/night.

Yucutan. Found a lodge in Campeche/Calakmul I think it was with good rates and Wifi allegedly, but I wonder if this area has the diversity a place with mountains would have.

Costa Rica. More pricy overall, and I've been there many times. But many birds left to see. Some good lodges with Wifi are Margot, Arco Iris, Hacienda Baru. Any others in different areas, maybe south or north ?

Panama: Gamboa is a good choice (but not Ivan's place, the other one), but it is such a long walk to the forest and it is the rainy season. And I've been there. Other areas/choices?

thanks!

We had free wifi in Rancho Naturalista in Costa Rica, and also in Tirimbina. First one naturally includes all food, second one not, but the price is not nearly as high either. I would imagine that Heliconia Island lodge would have it too? Hotel Guachepelin in Guanacaste (spelling? -- near Rincon de la Vieja) did also have Wifi; we did not stay there but could use it from the car outside their restaurant

As Niels indicates, quite a few of the lodges in Costa Rica have WiFi. I am not sure if the following have WiFi, but there is a good chance they do:

The Wilson Botanical Garden Lots of great birding and a good site for wood-quails.
Talari Mountain Lodge Pearl Kite, Bran-colored Flycatcher, and Snowy-bellied Hummingbird are some nice regulars.

Both sites also have Turquoise Cotinga.

In the north, Rancho Curabande may have WiFi- good dry habitat and near Rincon de la Vieja.

Las Heliconias Lodge may have WiFi too- weather can be challenging but a stay here always turns up high quality species and herps. The combination of habitats and ecosystems around Bijagua and Las Heliconias Lodge make it one of Cosa Ricas biodiversity hotspots. For example, 4 sp. of tinamous, 6 sp. of motmots, Sharpbill, Rufous-vented Ground-Cuckoo, Purplish-backed Quail-Dove, many owl sp., etc. have all been seen there. I think one could use the lodge as a base for a week or two of birding in Costa Rica and see a huge number of species.

Laguna del Lagarto- Not sure if they have WiFi but an excellent place for birding that is off the beaten path and has great service.

There are probably lodges in the Osa that have WiFi but Im not sure which.
