Im off to south west scotland next week and hoping to have some good walks and to see some great wildlife. I'd like to see white tailed and golden eagles and perhaps osprey. Im camping so will be quite mobile has anyone got advice on the best place to go??
By south-west do you mean Dumfriess & Galloway? If so, loads of places - get a leaflet from an information centre (free) with maps etc. It's invaluable. We like Mersehead; all the coastal places west of Annan; Loch Ken etc. etc..
ill have a look on the map for these places, they seem interesting, has anyone else got any ideas???
