Sardinian Warbler in Norfolk

A superb full breeding plumage male Sardinian Warbler (Sylvia melanocephalla) has been showing well at Holme in Norfolk, it is in the dune-scrub north of the path across the Golf course, it regularly sits out and sings.
This is most likely the same bird that was present at nearby Old Hunstanton during Sepember of last year.
I have added a picture of it in the gallery, taken yesterday 19-03-03 with Canon D60 + 600mm IS lens

Nigel

There are also more images of it on my website.

Nigel,
I have looked in the gallery and that is a cracking picture. if the bird stays around for a week or so I might just get to see it. Thanks for the return email re the website. I will be looking forward to seeing some more pictures taken by yourself in this good weather and to hearing of your exploits.

Colin

An excellent shot Nigel. An exceptional view of a bird that so seldom shows itself in this country.
