I know the Common Raven is a bird found in Pennsylvania USA, but in my part of the state Sibley's has it marked as a rare visitor.
I positively ID'd it as it was being mobbed by American crows that were semi-dwarfed by it. It also had the low call and wedge shaped tail. There was possibly two but I couldn't make it out from such distance if it was another one or just an Am. Crow. Pretty cool to see one though.

Good find Matt! Here is a link to an eBird map of Raven sightings in Pennsylvania over the last four years (you may have to click on the "map" tab): http://ebird.org/ebird/GuideMe?sour...ntinue=Continue
Ravens have been expanding their range in Massachusetts, so perhaps that is happening in Pennsylvania also.
By the way, I used to live in Western Pennsylvania. There is a Whitehall in that part of the state also, and I used to think that you lived there. So just wanted to let you know that if you just say "Whitehall, PA" people might not know exactly where you are talking about.
Best,
Jim
