A year, or maybe two ago, I saw a magpie in a garden on the East coast of Northern Ireland - the white was replaced by a pale pink. Does this happen from time to time - I haven't seen it before. Sorry I don't have a photo.

Thanks for your thoughts. I remember seeing a comment in the RSPB Birds magazine some time ago that a few of these bird had turned up possibly on the south coast of England - I just can't put my hand on the article.
The pink wasn't very strong, but it was still pink nonetheless.
