Oregon junco out of range?

Hi everyone,

I just moved out of the city and have been attempting to learn about the birds who visit my feeders. I noticed this one bird which I'm pretty sure is an Oregon Junco, which I think is out of it's range (I live in Ontario, it's supposed to be a lot further out west!) Does anyone know if it really is out of it's range or did I just not find the right info? It's been hanging out with a group of other junco's that are more local (all grey ones, I can't remember what they are called, maybe dark-eyed juncos?). Here is a pic of it:

Towhee? But then what's going on with the bill? I should be staying out of this as I've never been birding in North America. Welcome to BF anyway and I'm sure someone'll solve this very soon.

Graham

It looks to me like a definate out of range Oregon race of the Dark-Eyed Junco, "Oregon" Junco for me. If I saw it out here in California I wouldn't have found anything to question it on. Good find.
