I am planning a family camping holidayto Norway during July for three weeks. I will be based at: Laerdal, Sogn og Fjordane - hopefully to have a chance of white-backed woodpecker (Dendrocopus leucotos); then near Dombas, Hedmark, Oppland to visit the national parks of Dovrefjell- Sunndalfjella and Rondane, as well as fitting in Fokstumyra wetlands. Finally, a stay at Eidfjord, near bergen for forays into Hardangervidda.
I would be very grateful if anyone has any experience of these areas/sites to share any tips, specific locations for local specialities or information.
