Yesterday we had an adult channel billed cuckoo drop in for the day. His presence greatly upset the locals who constantly followed him around dive bombing him . We could find the bird easily, just had to listen for where the most ruckus was coming from in the trees.
The cuckoo departed late in the day closely followed by his escort of yellow throated miners.
We have had more rain here and the birdlife is terrific, there is grass growing and going to seed, there are cockies and budgies and cockatiels all over the place and we really could start cell grazing on our airstrips. cheers calenso ![]()
