This was a primarily non-birdwatching family holiday to Naples in Florida, although I had plenty of time to do some birdwatching. Sites visited included Ding Darling Wildlife Refuge (by bike), Delnor-Wiggins State Park, Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary, Naples Botanical Gardens and the area on the east side of the Everglades.
In addition to birds, we saw Manatees (on a specific Manatee watching boat trip), Bottlenose Dolphins (from the hotel balcony), 2 Raccoons, Gopher Tortoise, several species of freshwater turtle and numerous Alligators.
I intend to post a species list, then some photos and may post a more complete report at a later date. Thank you to all people who provided help and information on this forum prior to my visit.
