Wow. I thought I was doing good with my feeders, but after looking at some of your lists I feel tiny. But that's ok. Everyday I get to stare out my windows at the birds and it's so much fun. My husband thinks I'm nuts because I will stare for like a half hour. But here's my list so far. Most of which seem to be becomign regulars at the feeders.
Black-capped chickadee- about 6 of them
Tufted Titmouse- about 6 of those too
White-breasted nuthaches- 2 of those
Blue Jays- 5 of those
Downy woodpecker- 2 of those
Woodpecker- not sure which yet, one with a red head, not pliated
Cardinals- one male, one female, I believe
Black-eyed Junco- 2
Morning Doves- 2
Rose-breasted Grosbeak- I believe 2, not sure if they both are or not
and the cutest lil Chipmunk shares the platform feeder with the Blue Jays.
and there are two other species, but I have to find some pictures to try and identify them.
That's two more Rose-breasted Grosbeaks than I. Missed it a few times even, when others saw it.
Hey, everybody's lists started out small.
You've got a nice variety there, and I'm sure come spring, you won't have a moment of free time you'll be so busy trying to keep up with all the birds in your yard. Ain't it grand?
