I live in South Brittany near the beautiful city of Vannes
20 mins from home are the Sene saltmarches (well worth a visit)
It was Sunny but very windy (not an ideal day for spotting passerines).
Yet despite all this,had a spendid hour watching a male Bluethroat (my first ever siting of this elusive bird).I am know familier with his unique call and to top off a great day earlier that morning,i saw my first Red Squirrel in 15 years.

Congratulations Brain they are fantastic birds espesially when in full summer plumage.
