I have put a report on a ten-day trip to Morocco here:
http://www.travellingbirder.com/tri...trip_report.pdf
Problems with weather, new barbed-wire fences and disturbance cost us a few species (Crowned Sandgrouse, Double-spurred Francolin, Maghreb Wheatear and Pharaoh Eagle Owl), but the report has a new site where Egyptian Nightjar must be guaranteed. Also, a location for Barbary Macaque en route is included.
We felt like we hurried on, but in the end we only had 1½ day to spare, so we could probably have added e.g. Merja Zerga.
Useful report and sounds like a pretty good trip overall
We've always used whatever hire car company seemed cheapest on internet web searches (not a big name usually) and never had any problems, guilty too of singing the praises of sleeping in cars - and being tight.
Thank you for sharing your trip report with us, I enjoy reading it very much.
