Yesterday, my boss spotted some Waxwings just along the road from our office. I was off work, but he told Keith and they both went along to see them. Keith mentioned it to me when he arrived home last night.
I arrived at work today and they are still around, about 20 of them, sitting in a tree at the entrance to a pay and display car park - didn't even need bins to view them as they tolerate you walking right under them.
The car park is adjacent to 107 Arundel Street in the centre of Sheffield, behind The Globe pub which is on the corner of Arundel Street and Howard Street.
They were still there at about 1pm.
You seem to have got them all this year. I haven't seen any in this area since January.
None this year? I haven't seen any for quite a few years!!! Keep missing the mythical beasties! Which probably means I'll see DOZENS of them when I finish work tomorrow...I hope!!!
