Looking for bird listing software

Hello,
I have recently offered to keep bird data for my local birding spot. I planned to use either Excel or Access. In researching on the net I have discovered 3-4 software packages for individuals to use for their bird data. These include-BirdBase, Avisys, and Birder's Diary. I wonder whether any of you experts out there have thoughts on these packages, or know of other software I could use. I need to: 1. track monthly bird count data, 2. produce and update the site's checklist, and 3. provide support for the organization's president when needed, for funding organizations or to "do battle" with local governments to protect the site from encroachment. I would also like to be able to create "abundance by season" graphs to put on the checklist.

Can anyone help me? Thanks in advance.
