Long Billed Dowitcher

Hi all,
This is probably old news on many of the bird guides sites, but doesn't seem to have been mentioned here yet.
There seems to be a long staying Long Billed Dowitcher at Inner Marsh Farm on the Wirral, it has certainly been there about a week now and is visible from the hide there most of the time.
I have attached a photo I took of it, not particularly a stunning image as it never comes to close to the hide, but still an interesting watch can be had from the hide. I personally have seen it 3 days running now, other birds of interest there at the moment are the long staying Green Winged Teal, lots of sightings of Curlew Sandpipers, Little Stint and an enormous number of Snipe on some occasions counts as high as 52 have been recorded. For the Raptor fans there is always something of interest, including very good display by a pair of Sparrowhawks, several Peregrine, upto 3 buzzard and formation flying displays by the local Kestrels

Hi Stuart,

It did a short stay on the Oakenholt reserve on thursday afternoon 13 Oct.

Chris.

Hi Stuart

I am hoping to get to Inner Marsh this weekend - I hope the LBD stays around long enough. I also dipped on the Green Winged Teal last time I was there.

Do you know if the Spotted Crake has been seen recently?
