Hi,
I spotted this Little Egret at Frampton Marsh yesterday.
Isn't it way too late/early to see these? According to the Bird Database they can be seen as far north as the North Norfolk coast, but is February 26th not a bit early.
It looked like its left wing was limping a bit. It took more than a minute to walk away before taking off.
I would like te hear from anybody who has seen this bird as well or knows anything about it.
It's not unusual to see little egret all year round on the Wash coast. But nice.
Little egrets are now a resident bird, and as such are present at some locations all year round.
