My apologies if I should not be posting this here - but it seems quite a rare bird to us.
A regular visitor to our village garden in Kirkwhelpington.
By coincidence, I had a first visit to my garden feeder yesterday by a leucistic greenfinch (I think). It is a lovely primrose yellow all over with deeper yellow bars on the wings.
I'm not sure what it is but I dont think it's a sparrow with a bill like that.
