I have just returned from a 2 week trip Photographic/Birding Trip to Kenya. (Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha & Mt.Kenya. I wanted to recommend our Kenyan guide who was exceptional. Not only a great driver and very likeable chap; but an excellent birder who knew all the challenging 'little brown jobs' (cisticolas etc) on call and was also able to mimic many species.
He understood the 'needs' of a wildlife photographer and his mammal knowledge was also to a high standard. He received numerous calls on our trip often from British/Dutch birding parties who were less than impressed with their allocated 'bird-guide' so if you are interested i would advise booking him early!
