With a couple of lifer's this week, I decided to really scrutinize my life list. I went over it with my wife, and kid, and brother. All three I bird with a lot. I wanted to confirm a few sightings, and did so, with help from them. I'm pretty particular about my list. If I'm not one hundred percent sure about a sighting, I don't put it in.
Most lifers I've seen with my wife, followed by Sam, and than my brother Marty, and finally with my son Adam.
The last three ticks for the last two weeks are:
Willet (Catoptrophorus semipalmatus)
Common Raven (Corvus corax)
Red Knot (Calidris canutus)
Life is Good!

Congrats Mike. My 200th was a great northern diver found by Dr Richard Arnold on the Menai Straits, Caernarfon. 14 years on and I have yet to pass the 250 mark although I did have a few lean years until recently. Everything can slow down a bit in the UK after 250 anyway unless one chases rarities.
Bravo MikeI'm running after you M8ty
