I've been asked in the past about what I include on my "Garden List".
Basically, my criteria are rather strict, but I hadn't decided how to treat birds on the house.
Didn't really matter much until today, when a Meadow Pipit completed it's song flight by alighting on the television aerial.
Now it seems I have just two options...
1) Anything on the house qualifies for the Garden List
or
2) I start a television aerial list!!!

Yes, but where do you draw the line? Fence lists, garage lists, chimney lists, branch overhanging the garden list?
I treat mine very liberally (I have to coz I don't get many birds!) I count anything in the garden, on a neighbour's branch that overhangs the garden, on the fence, on the house, or flying through the garden below eave level. And it's still a pathetic list.
