I've had an amazing year birding this year, which has seen me doing a few more miles than usual but it has rewarded me with some great additions to my UK Life List. The top & best are -

Hoopoe.
Spotted Crake.
So, it's not a bad list, I suffered a big dip with the Belted Kingfisher, but hey, who wants to see everything?
