While looking out in the pond near my house i noticed two giant pure white birds that looked exactly like blue herons except white. However, when looking up great white herons, they only seem to be located around florida. I have never seen them before and had the same structure as blue herons. I havn't seen them since this morning but others have spotted them around all day. If i see them again i'll be sure to take a picture. Does anyone have any ideas as to what they are or why they are here?
I would say they area probably Great Egrets.
In my opinion, it would be highly unlikely that Great White Herons would be anywhere except in Florida.
