some people on here will know this was my first time out of england in 34 years and my first time to france so i didnt do a lot of birding but i went to two reserves one in brittany and one in normandythe first was a great site but i had the wife and little girl with me and they are not birders so i only did a short walk but i stell got one first a great grey shrike there were lots of stonechats there were alot of kestrels and some little brone birds witch i didnt id the site wascalled biologique de trunvel but i did only see a little bit of it
then when i was in normandy i went to a reserve called domaine de beaugillot not a big site well i dont think it was no map of the site but i had a good look around and heres what i saw

i dont think i saw anything more on that site but on my last day in france on the camp site i was on i got another first crested tit and one i had not seen for a long time a nuthatch i did see a lot of birds of pray but when you are driving its not easy to id them but i would have liked to stop and look but not a good idear but it was one of the best holidays in years
