Hi
Thought i'd post a link to a trip report done by my good friend Janne Aalto on our trip around Finland in Jul 2007. Time pressures have meant the report has just been posted. Hope you enjoy it!

I had ten lifers, including some things that are very hard to find in July, such as Pine Grosbeak and White-backed Woodpecker. It was a fantastic trip, if a little hectic. Its amazing how comfy you can make yourself in a car when you're completely knackered!
Cheers,
Paul.
Thanks for this Paul. Always enjoy Janne Aalto's trip reports - a lot of useful info can be found within the trips section on his website along with some really good photographs. A recommended read if anyone has a spare half hour or so.
Cheers and good birding

I've spent a few summers in Finland and not seen a lot of birds on your list (I was middle of nowhere mind). What an awesome trip - guess you slept well afterwards.
