All around town over the past 5 months I have encountered on different occassions a group of 5 crows and a falcon. Twice now the group has even visited my back yard. Has anyone ever heard of such a thing? What would cause the falcon to fly with a group of crows?

Its the other way round, the crows mob the predator & chase it out of their territories, the falcon will eventually get away from them.

Really?? But the falcon doesn't seem to be annoyed by the crows. For instance, while the crows ate the corn in my yard, the falcon sat in the tree. When the crows finished and flew away, the falcon went with them.
