I just came back from birdwatching in Ethiopia.
It has been an amazing and pleasant experience. Much better than I expected.

We rented a 4x4 with a guide/driver (95€/day)
The service was excellent.

Many years back, had a very good trip through Ethiopia and its neighbouring states - would certainly be intersted in seeing how you fared, specially if you got up to the Bale Mountains. Fantastic country, but worst kids in the world! :)
