Hi
just finished a website of interest to some independent birders. Also lots of insect macros included.

Many thanks to those of you that contributed information about Podocarpus earlier this year on Bird Forum.

Very nice. Brought back some great memories. My wife and I did a Kinda "Honeymoon" trip there in 2002. Stayed in "Birdy" jungle lodges. Even though we'd been married 12 years, we never had a real honeymoon. I convinced (sold) her that looking at birds and comfort can work. I admire your trip and effort. We've done that on other excursions. Thanks again for such fine writing and photos.........Chris
thanks Chris
I'll get around to visiting a jungle lodge one day, the huge lists are hard to resist and the insect life must be mind boggling. I did check out the costs a couple of years ago but a bit frightening for my limited funds. Will just have to save harder. Thinking about a macro lens for my 35mm at the moment for those places with no electricity!! Also much more of a challenge than digital.
