Easter UK Birding Trip - Venue Possibilities

I'd like to pick your collective brains, if I may.
Easter falls on April 4th next year.
I'm toying with the idea of taking my wife and son away somewhere in the UK, for a week during the Easter holidays.
My initial thought is Spurn Point, but I see they're experiencing some serious accommodation issues that may not be resolved in time.
So, if you wanted a week of self-indulgent birding, where would you go at that time of year and why, if I may ask?

Thanks

Simon

Scilly - potential of some good early migrants, and if the birding doesn't go well (which can happen anywhere, let's face it) it's a beautiful place to be.

There's only one place to go birding in the UK at Easter and that's Speyside!

It used to be a regular run for the keen birder so the crack in the pubs was almost like being on Scilly.

All the birds will be showing well and there's always a chance of late snow for the kids to play in. Ptarmigan may be partially white still, Mountain Hares too, first Ospreys should be in and the remainder of the cast includes Golden Eagles displaying, Dippers on the streams and rivers, Capercaillies doing their stuff (obey exhortations to leave them alone when lekking), Goldeneye and Goosanders in superb plumage on the lochs, Red Deer and Feral Goats up the Findhorn, great scenery.....

Go up or back via Glenshee instead of A9 for easy Ptarmigan and Mountain Hares.
